Residential energy upgrade

Kew, VIC
AWhy it matters

Electrical systems should do more than work today. They should support how your home, vehicle and business operate next.

We plan around the property in front of us — its age, its load and where it’s headed. That means installs that are right the first time and infrastructure you can keep building on, rather than work that needs unpicking in a couple of years.

01 / ServicesWhat we install

Six services, one coordinated approach.

Select a service to see who it suits, what you get and the kind of project it fits.

Electrician installing a wall-mounted EV charger beside a modern Melbourne home

Home and workplace charging installed to suit your vehicle, your switchboard and the way you actually use power. We size the circuit correctly, set up load management where it's needed and leave you with a clean, compliant install.

Ideal for

Homeowners and businesses adding one or several charging points.

  • Correctly sized circuit and protection
  • Load management to avoid switchboard upgrades where possible
  • Tidy cable routing and weather-rated mounting

Solar and battery planned together, so the system works as one rather than two separate purchases. We model your usage, recommend sensible sizing and prepare the infrastructure for storage even if the battery comes later.

Ideal for

Homeowners reducing grid reliance and planning for storage.

  • Solar and storage sized around real usage
  • Battery-ready wiring and switchboard provisioning
  • Clear monitoring so you can see what the system does

Fit-outs, upgrades and power works for offices, retail and multi-tenant buildings. We coordinate with builders and trades, keep documentation organised and deliver work that passes inspection the first time.

Ideal for

Builders, developers, architects and property managers.

  • Coordinated delivery alongside other trades
  • Compliant, well-documented installations
  • Power and distribution planned for future load

Metering, monitoring and control that lets a home shift load, prioritise self-generated power and run more of itself on electricity. Practical automation that earns its place — not gadgets for their own sake.

Ideal for

Owners of all-electric or energy-conscious homes.

  • Circuit-level monitoring and metering
  • Load prioritisation for EV, hot water and storage
  • Integration that stays simple to live with

Older boards weren't built for EVs, induction cooking, heat pumps and solar all at once. We assess capacity, upgrade safely and bring protection up to current standards — often the quiet step that makes everything else possible.

Ideal for

Homes moving toward all-electric and higher demand.

  • Capacity assessed against current and future load
  • Modern circuit protection and safety switches
  • Room provisioned for upcoming additions

Testing, fault-finding and scheduled servicing that keeps energy systems running the way they were designed to. Ongoing support for the systems we install, and for systems you've inherited that need a steady hand.

Ideal for

Homeowners and commercial property managers.

  • Scheduled testing and compliance checks
  • Fast, methodical fault diagnosis
  • Documented service history for the property

Completed over four weeks

The brief

A renovated Kew home was running an older single-phase board that couldn't support an EV charger, solar and an all-electric kitchen at once. We upgraded to three-phase, integrated the solar, ran battery-ready cabling and added smart load management so the EV charges around the rest of the household demand. The result is infrastructure the owners can keep building on, not a board at its limit.

FAQCommon questions

Answered plainly.

Still unsure about something? A site assessment is the quickest way to get a clear answer for your property.

It comes down to your vehicle, how far you drive and your switchboard's capacity. We check all three, then recommend a charger and a circuit that won't leave you upgrading again in a year. In many cases load management means you can avoid a switchboard upgrade entirely.

Yes — it's often the most efficient time to do it. If the board is near capacity or due for modern protection, combining the works saves a second visit and means everything is provisioned for what you're planning next.

Regularly. We coordinate with builders, developers and architects on fit-outs and new builds, work to documentation and keep our part of the program on schedule alongside the other trades.

Yes. Even if storage isn't in this stage, we can run battery-ready cabling and provision the switchboard so adding a battery later is straightforward rather than a rebuild.

We offer scheduled testing, compliance checks and fault-finding for commercial properties — both for systems we've installed and for systems you've inherited that need a reliable point of contact.

We visit the property, look at the existing system and talk through what you want it to do. You then receive a clear scope and recommendation. There's no obligation — the assessment is about getting the plan right before any quoting.
